Organic, natural and artificial processed ingredients often contain incidental undeclared ingredients.
Liquid flavors and colors often contain undeclared propylene glycol, glycerin, dextrin, citric acid, sodium hydroxide, sucrose esters of fatty acids, lycopene, ascorbic acid, polysorbate 80, and the list goes on.
Dry flavors, colors and food gums are often dispersed in undeclared dextrose, sodium citrate, trehalose, citric acid, maltodextrin, invert sugar, potassium sorbate. And many others.
Most of the undeclared incidental ingredients are processed ingredients themselves and contain addition chemical compounds that are not on the label sent to pickle producer…Get the picture!
Read the labels and check for calcium chloride, preservatives, food gums, natural and artificial flavors, natural and artificial colors. You don’t need these ingredients to make awesome pickles.
Our products are packaged in glass jars eliminating plastic. Glass jars are infinitely recyclable. Making glass from recycled jars consumes less energy than making new glass.
The vast majority of plastic is not recycled. Just because it has a recycling symbol on the package does not mean it is recyclable. It is a plastic industry trick.
